I got a wonderful invitation to exhibit at Åland’s Art Museum together with scrap sculptor Johan Karlsson. The exhibition revolved around Åland animals and nature.
My large landscape paintings in restrained color range and Johans coarse, but sensitive sculptures thrived so well together in the beautifully lit exhibition hall.
I had previously accepted a solo exhibition at Galleri Skarpans in Mariehamn during the same period, so now it was a busy day!
The exhibition was incredibly well-attended and many school classes and preschools came on display. We also held a lunch guide of our exhibition where about 100 people joined, and a workshop for children.
